Ashish Koul
Ashish Koul is a student of modern South Asian history, with a focus on the history of politics, religion and gender in late nineteenth-early twentieth century colonial north India. She is also interested in issues related to the Partition of India, democracy and political representation, international and intra-national migration and refugee rehabilitation. She has been awarded the Social Science Research Council International Dissertation Research Fellowship for 2013-14. She is working with Prof. Samira Sheikh.
