Sandra J. Rosenthal
Jack & Pamela Egan Chair of Chemistry
Chemistry Department Chair
Dr. Rosenthal will be accepting graduate students for Fall 2025.
The Rosenthal group studies the synthesis, structure, and optical spectroscopies of semiconductor nanostructures. Applications we have explored for our materials include lighting and display technologies. We are particularly interested in applying nanocrystals in neuroscience to elucidate molecular mechanisms of mental disorders.
