Keri A. Tallman

Senior Lecturer
Research Assistant Professor

Dr. Tallman is not currently accepting graduate students.

I have been doing research with Ned Porter at Vanderbilt University for over twenty years. We have studied mechanisms of free radical damage to biological systems and its implications. We are currently studying vaping and the mechanism by which this leads to lung damage. In addition, we are studying the factors that affect cholesterol biosynthesis, such as disease and prescription drugs.

I am also a lecturer in the Biochemistry and Chemical Biology program. I am teaching a variety of courses, including lab and research courses in which we incorporate our research into the course.
