David M. Hercules
Centennial Professor Emeritus
Research Professor
Research area is mass spectrometry and ion mobility studies on synthetic polymers. Current focus is on polyurethanes (PURs). The specific focus is on determining the chain sequence of PURs ; currently not possible generally. I am associated with the McLean research group. Typically students do several chapters in their thesis with me as director and the reminder with Prof. McLean as director. Currently, three students have this arrangement. |
