Emma Banks

Graduate Student

Emma is a cultural anthropologist who focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility practices in Colombia.  After graduating with a BA from Cornell University, she lived and worked in Cochabamba, Bolivia for two years. Her research interests include corporations, natural resource extraction, spatial analysis, violence, development, and land conflict. Her current project focuses on relationships between community, union, and corporation in two mining zones in Colombia.
