Ema Perea Rios

Ema Perea is a Peruvian graduate student who earned her degree in Architecture from Antenor Orrego Private University and her degree in Archaeology from the National University of Trujillo. Her primary research interest centers on studying the construction and transformation of ancient cultural landscapes, with a specific emphasis on the Andean region. She seeks to understand how these landscapes have been and continue to be shaped by both historical and contemporary challenges, including climate change and the dynamics of urban-rural expansion. One of her objectives is for her research to contribute to addressing these issues and to contribute the effective preservation and management of cultural heritage in the contemporary context
