Céline Erauw

Céline Erauw is an archaeologist specializing in zooarchaeology and the archaeology of the Andes. She is a BAEF postdoctoral fellow at the Department of anthropology. She holds a PhD in Archaeology and Art History from the Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. She was previously a Wiener-Anspach Foundation postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include human-animal interactions, the archaeology of Peru’s central coast, and the analysis of past environments. 

Céline is currently working on “Elucidating human-animal interactions in the Lurín Valley and Pachacamac site, Peru (1000-1600 CE)”.

In Spring, she will be teaching ANTH 3272 - Ancient Pets, Predators, Food: Archeology of Animals.
