Graduate Student Kelsey Herndon awarded Bliss Symposium Award in Pre-Columbian Studies
Sep. 4, 2026—Anthropology graduate student Kelsey Herndon was awarded a Bliss Symposium Award in Pre-Columbian Studies from Dumbarton Oaks. The award will support her attendance at the 2026 Pre-Columbian Studies Symposium “Culinary Arts in a Pre-Columbian World: Disciplined Tastes and Gastronomic Expressions.”
Professor Norbert Ross named Fulbright U.S. Scholar award recipient
Aug. 31, 2026—Professor Norbert Ross was named a Fulbright U.S. Scholar award recipient. Professor Ross will be spending a year in Xalapa, Veracruz teaching all-women collectives improv theater.
