Applications for our Ph.D. and master's programs are processed through Vanderbilt's Graduate School. All new students enroll in the fall, with applications opening each August for the following year.

Graduate education in the College of Arts and Science focuses on doctoral programs, with students typically earning the M.A. or M.S. in progress toward the Ph.D. We also offer several terminal master's degrees, as noted below.
