BLASTmedia Recruiting Event for Seniors

BLASTmedia, a national B2B PR agency, will host an invite-only open house for December 2019 and May 2020 graduates interested in our account coordinator role. To be eligible to attend, students and recent grads must apply for the account coordinator role by February 9.

BLASTmedia will send personal invitations to select students and new grads with details, including date and time of the event, during the week of February 10. The open house will take place during the second half of February and provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about the work that BLASTmedia does, agency life and the daily activities of our account coordinator role.

BLASTmedia Summer and Fall 2020 Internships

BLASTmedia’s Summer and Fall 2020 PR internship applications are now open. Through the internship students have an opportunity to work directly with account teams on activities that benefit our B2B SaaS clients. The internship is part-time: 10-15 hours per week and paid hourly.

Internship, Climate Change Communication (Due: Jan. 31, 2020)

This internship is a partnership between the National Park Service and George Mason University’s Center for Climate Change Communication. The National Park Service (NPS) works to protect and preserve America’s cultural and natural resources, presenting the opportunity to observe changes caused by global warming. The National Capital Region (NCR) of the NPS spans across areas of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. and is home to national monuments, battlefields, and diverse natural landscapes. George Mason University’s Center for Climate Change Communication (4C) researches climate change public engagement strategies. The partnership between NPS and 4C creates a unique platform to educate and engage park visitors with climate change impacts and solutions.

Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder (DPMMR) is proud to offer a Nonprofit Administration (NPA) internship to students interested in a career within the nonprofit sector. Interns will be immersed into the daily operations of our development office, gaining valuable hands-on experience and polishing the necessary skills needed to obtain a position in a not-for-profit organization. Participants will be mentored through a three-part curriculum and coached through a variety of special projects.

Smithsonian Internships (Summer 2020)

The Smithsonian Institution National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) in Washington, DC offers a paid internship program in collaboration with cultural institutions with projects focused on the digitization and preservation of African American history and culture.

The Robert Frederick Smith Fund for the Digitization and Curation of African American History was established in 2016 to advance the digital curation, community outreach, and internship initiatives at NMAAHC. The Robert Frederick Smith Internship Program seeks to reverse the trend of underrepresentation of African Americans and other minorities in museum professions through well-paid internships at NMAAHC as well as at select cultural institutions across the country.
