The Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences

The interdisciplinary master’s program in biomedical sciences is designed for students who are looking to strengthen their application to medical, graduate, and professional schools, or are pursuing a career in the biomedical sciences. Faculty work with students to tailor their education needs and help them become competitive applicants for a variety of health professional schools. The program offers didactic courses and training to increase scientific mastery and performance on standardized entrance tests. Students also have unique opportunities for research, physician shadowing, and interview preparation. The average class size is approximately 20 students, allowing for individualized attention and mentoring.

Students select from one of two tracks and have the opportunity to take courses with leading faculty in chemistry; biological sciences; medicine, health, and society; psychology; and molecular physiology and biophysics.
