Space 204 opens 2025-2026 season with “Studio Sessions,” a department group exhibition

The Vanderbilt University Department of Art presents Studio Sessions, a group exhibition highlighting work made by the faculty and staff of the Department of Art including the staff of the Engine for Art, Democracy & Justice (EADJ) program. Spanning two galleries of Space 204, the works exhibited in this exhibition showcase the variety of creative research and studio practices across media. The exhibition will be on view from August 21 to September 30, 2025.

Studio Sessions will feature the studio art faculty – Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons, Mark Hosford, Vesna Pavlović, Jana Harper, Angus Galloway, Sarah Dunham, John Warren, Alex Blau, Alexandra Sargent Capps, Tamara Reynolds, Haein Kang, Patrick DeGuira, Raheleh Filsoofi, Jonathan Rattner, and Vadis Turner as well as staff from both studio art and EADJ – Zach Duensing, Simon Tatum, Danielle Myers, Taylor Raboin, and Jerry Bedor Phillips.

The Department of Art invites everyone to the artist reception on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 3pm to 5pm in Space 204, located on the second floor of the EBI Studio Arts Center (1204 25th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee).

Access to EBI Studio Arts Center and Parking:

Please note that there is a residential college construction project in progress around EBI Studio Arts Center. Please use the rear entrance to access the building. Metered Street Parking is available along Garland Avenue, 24th Avenue, and the 25th Ave Garage (entrance off of Highland Ave) on the level 2 and ramp to level 1.
