Angus Galloway

Angus Galloway works between drawing, painting, installation and sound as his primary art practice. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University where he majored in Philosophy and minored in Studio Art and Art History. Attending Georgia State University for his M.F.A., he concentrated on drawing and painting along with sound design.
His installations have been included in exhibitions such as New Genre Landscape in an Atlanta park, Art in Odd Places in New York, and Tenderlandscape at Agnes Scott College. His work has been included in many exhibitions including Sprawl: Drawing Outside the Lines at the High Museum, The Drawing Experiment at Chastain Arts Center, Triple Play at Marcia Wood Castleberry, Gathered at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, and 40 Over 40 at EBDB in Chamblee Georgia. In 2015 he completed a residency with the Creatives Project at the Goat Farm Art Center in Atlanta.
His work has been featured in national and international exhibitions as well as a variety of publications including Direct Art, New York Art, Art Papers, Burnaway, and Trigger Magazines.
