Brett Richey BA’18: Working Toward Justice
While at Vanderbilt, Brett Richey majored in Public Policy Studies and interned with Davidson County Juvenile Court Judge Shiela Calloway. “My favorite thing about the Public Policy Studies major was the opportunity to craft my own curriculum,” Bretty said. “I had the flexibility to include courses from a broad array of disciplines, such as economics, sociology, political science, and managerial studies. I was also fortunate to have outstanding professors who remain my mentors today.”
Brett is currently attending Harvard Law School. After graduation, she will be returning to Nashville to clerk for Judge Eli Richardson of the Middle District of Tennessee. Her ultimate goal is to become a Department of Justice trail attorney and work for the FBI.
