Teacher Certification

Students who wish to teach math can double major in math and secondary education (in the Peabody College of Education). Another option is Peabody’s fifth year master’s program for mathematics majors interested in teaching. Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, majors in the fifth-year program would spend the next summer and academic year earning their M.Ed. and teaching licensure.
