French Professional Business Certificate
The Diplomas in French for Professions are official certifications awarded by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Paris Île-de-France). These diplomas validate professional-level French proficiency in specific sectors and are recognized by the French government. Unlike general proficiency tests such as the TEF, these diplomas are valid for life.

The Diplôme de Français des Affaires validates the ability to function professionally in a Francophone business environment. Candidates must understand socio-economic texts, draft professional correspondence, complete commercial documents, and translate into French.

French for Medical Professions (DFP Médical – FREN 2950)
The DFP Médical B2 validates professional-level French in healthcare contexts. Aligned with CEFR level B2, it corresponds approximately to 450–500 hours of training and certifies the ability to independently perform standard professional tasks in the medical field.

French for International Relations (FREN 2970)
Developed in partnership with the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, this diploma certifies the ability to operate in diplomatic, institutional, and multilateral environments using professional French.
Students should consult the Department of French & Italian for course eligibility.

Recognition
- Academic Recognition: Offered at over one hundred universities worldwide and recognized by CEMS.
- Government Recognition: Recognized by several European ministries and accepted by the French Ministry of the Interior for residence permit and naturalization applications.
- International Recognition: The International Relations diploma is recognized within programs of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie. Business diplomas carry the European ALTE label.
