Studio Sessions closing event; Oct. 1, 2025 in Space 204
Studio Sessions, the group exhibition featuring the works from Vanderbilt Studio Arts and the Engine for Art, Democracy & Justice (EADJ) faculty and staff, finishes it’s exhibition run on September 30, 2025 in Space 204. The Department of Art at Vanderbilt University would like to invite everyone to for a special closing reception and one final opportunity to see these works together on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 3pm to 5pm in Space 204.
The exhibition was a wonderful opportunity for the artists to exhibit together for a month as they normally make work in their own studios and exhibit outside of Space 204. In addition to the show, there will be a live performance from musician, singer, and composer Reza Filsoofi – a master in the traditional Iranian music and instruments.
Studio Sessions features the studio art faculty – Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons, Mark Hosford, Vesna Pavlović, Jana Harper, Angus Galloway, Sarah Dunham, John Warren, Alex Blau, Alexandra Sargent Capps, Tamara Reynolds, Haein Kang, Patrick DeGuira, Raheleh Filsoofi, Jonathan Rattner, and Vadis Turner as well as staff from both studio art and EADJ – Zach Duensing, Simon Tatum, Danielle Myers, Taylor Raboin, and Jerry Bedor Phillips, with a performance by Reza Filsoof.
