Community Voices Podcast Episodes
The Community Voices podcast project shares the stories of Nashville’s communities as they respond to our current situation and archives these stories for our future. We hope this collection will document both the everyday lives and the extraordinary experiences of Nashvillians in response to our current situation. The Warren Center advocates for the importance of humanities scholarship in understanding our world, and we believe that this moment—the tornado; the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing shutdown and economic challenges; and the demonstrations for social justice, racial equity, and Black Lives Matter following the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor—brings together a set of unique circumstances that demand that all voices be heard, telling their stories at what we hope is a point of transformation on the local and global scales.
