Research
The College of Arts and Science offers a wealth of undergraduate research experiences across the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Undergraduates have unique opportunities to participate in hands-on research, including working alongside world-class scholars in chemistry labs, participating in archaeological digs in South America, and examining rare historical archives. Students may work on established studies or formulate their own projects. Many students have the opportunity to author published papers or present at academic conferences. A&S also offers financial support to students who present their research at academic conferences.
In addition, Vanderbilt hosts a robust summer research program.
Students should contact the faculty member with whom they would like to work to learn about specific research opportunities.
