Ways to Make Your Impact

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund provides critical support to the college’s operating budget and allows us to be nimble and responsive to emerging needs, including student attendance at academic conferences, unique Immersion experiences, innovative programming, exploration of new technologies, and other timely initiatives.

A&S College Core

The A&S College Core, our innovative new undergraduate curriculum, provides students with a flexible, intuitive, and engaging academic experience across their four years. Gifts to the College Core support curricular developments, out-of-class experiences, and faculty training.

Opportunity Vanderbilt

The student experience at Vanderbilt is unparalleled, and we aim to ensure that all students can take advantage of every opportunity presented to them, regardless of their financial situation. Scholarship gifts ensure that all deserving students can attend Vanderbilt.

Faculty Support

Our faculty are the backbone of our school. Their groundbreaking research changes the way we understand and live in our world, and their teaching and mentorship impacts the lives of our students long after they graduate. Faculty support could include endowed chair positions to recruit the very best scholars to Vanderbilt and research funds to propel discoveries and innovations.

Infrastructure

As the largest school at Vanderbilt, the College of Arts and Science holds more than 1 million gross square feet of space on campus. High-quality, state-of-the-art buildings, classrooms, and lab spaces are critical to achieving our educational mission. Infrastructure gifts allow us to attract the most talented faculty and students, advance scientific discoveries, and further collaboration and innovation across campus.

The Arts

The College of Arts and Science is a leader in the arts at Vanderbilt, in Nashville, and around the globe. From studio art to cinema to theater to architecture, our faculty and students are designing, experimenting, and inventing new ways to view, understand, and interpret the world. Support for the A&S Arts Project elevates the arts through developing new curricular initiatives, expanding community partnerships, bringing renowned global artists to campus, and enhancing student opportunities.
