Fellowship Opportunities
The Max Kade Fellowship Program offers several opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to pursue academic and research endeavors in Europe (for undergraduate students) and Germany (for graduate students). These fellowships not only provide financial support, but also encourage academic growth and cultural exchange. We encourage all eligible students to apply and seize the opportunity to engage with European cultures and languages and to embark on a transformative academic journey in Europe.
Max Kade Discovery Award
The Max Kade Discovery Award is designed to support undergraduate students who intend to travel to Europe for various academic purposes, including research, summer programs, language courses, internships, or study abroad. The amount of the award, which is expected to be approximately $2000, will depend on the number of applications received. Graduate students are also eligible for this award, with preference given to those planning activities in Germany. Interested students are invited to submit a one-page application outlining their intentions and needs, along with a curriculum vitae and a brief budget by April 15.
Max Kade Wordsmith Award
The Max Kade Wordsmith Award recognizes outstanding papers or assignments. Up to three awards of $500 each may be made to students who demonstrate exceptional writing skills and academic ability. Recipients are selected by nomination.
