Student Research Support
The Rogers Center offers several grants and scholarships to Vanderbilt graduate and undergraduate students who are studying the presidency:
Rogers Center Grants for Graduate Scholarship on the U.S. Presidency
The Rogers Center for the American Presidency is pleased to announce its graduate research fellowship program for summer 2024. The Rogers Center will award up to four grants of $5,000 each to graduate students at Vanderbilt University working on projects that contribute to our scholarly understanding of the U.S. presidency, broadly conceived.
To apply for the grant, graduate students should send a one-page precis of their research (please include the name of current research advisors), along with a c.v., to Madeline Fry by April 15, 2024. The award recipients will be announced in May 2024.
This is an internal grant open only to current Vanderbilt graduate students.
Travel Grants
The Rogers Center offers small travel grants to undergraduate and graduate students to do archival research for projects on the U.S. presidency. Please contact Madeline Fry for more information.
