As presidential scholars, we develop extensive scholarship on the history and practice of the presidency with a particular eye to the relationship between the people and the presidency. The Rogers Center brings together scholars of the presidency from across the country in conferences and workshops that support cutting-edge research on executive power. The center also provides financial support to Vanderbilt undergraduate and graduate students studying the presidency.
The center regularly holds events for the Vanderbilt community and beyond. From book talks to conferences to discussions on the most pressing issues of our day, the center brings together scholars, practitioners, and activists whose work sheds light on the inner workings of executive power and the presidency.
