Ralph Birchmeier

Ralph’s expertise is in accounting, finance, valuation and strategy. An accounting major at Loyola Marymount University, he worked as a CPA for Arthur Andersen & Co., then an early quant firm, earned his MBA at Columbia Business School and his CFA designation, eventually becoming a partner for a global $30 billion investment manager building institutional equity portfolios and mutual funds. In recent years he has focused on teaching, writing, and the private markets with a particular emphasis on Pre-seed through Series A companies.
