Vanderbilt IT for the College of Arts and Science (VUIT-CAS)
Information Technology is a new division in the Vanderbilt hierarchy and was officially launched June 27. Along with the change in IT infrastructure comes a name change for our group. Instead of Technology Support Services we are now Vanderbilt IT for the College of Arts and Science (VUIT-CAS). What will not change is our support of A&S faculty and staff.
Our Media Services division provides support for all Arts and Science classrooms and provides equipment and service for activities related to the formal academic program of the College of Arts and Science. Some equipment is available to other members of the University for a fee. The office for Media Services is located in the basement of Buttrick Hall.
Our Computer Services division provides computer purchase and repair support for faculty and staff of the College of Arts and Science. The main office of Computer Services is at 260 Center Building and we have labs in Garland, Stevenson Center and Wilson Hall. Computer Triage (for immediate emergency assistance) is located in the Center Building 260.
