Victoria Hensley is an active historic preservationist. She recently graduated from MTSU's Public History program with emphases in historic preservation and the material culture of the South. She also studied at the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Art's Summer Institute where she was awarded the Brockman Fellowship. Hensley previously worked as a city planner with the City of Franklin while finishing her graduate degree. Her dissertation focused on the legacy of residential segregation and grassroots preservation efforts in Nashville's Edgehill neighborhood.
