Jonathan Vandenberg

Senior Lecturer in Theatre

Jonathan Vandenberg received an MFA in Directing from Columbia University and additional training with the Suzuki Company of Toga. In New York, he has conceived and directed Oresteia inspired by Aeschylus at Classic Stage Company, The Kingdom as a Mabou Mines Resident Artist, The Crossing of the Visible at the Center for Performance Research, and collaborated with director Robert Woodruff on Festenmacher at NYU Graduate Drama. Regionally, his work has been presented by such organizations as The Cutting Ball Theater, Middlebury College Museum of Art, and Magic Theatre Young California Writers Project. He has previously taught at Middlebury College, Franklin and Marshall College, and Classic Stage Company.
