- Is there an audition requirement to be a Theatre Major or Minor at Vanderbilt? No, there is no audition requirement. Students individually audition for each production, and auditions are open to all enrolled students university-wide.
- Is there a graduate program in Theatre? No we do not offer a graduate degree in Theatre at Vanderbilt.
- Do you take donations of props, set pieces, or costumes? We accept all of these donations. Please contact lina.a.millsap@vanderbilt.edu to set up a donation drop-off.
- Do you accept submissions of new-plays for production consideration? Yes. Those interested should contact lina.a.millsap@vanderbilt.edu with submissions via PDF for consideration in season-selection for the following year.

Can I rent the Neely Auditorium? Unfortunately, Neely Auditorium is fully booked during the academic year for
Theatre Department productions. During the summer, we have a long-standing
rental reservation with Nashville Shakespeare Festival and cannot accommodate
additional bookings. -
When do tickets go on sale? Tickets for our main-stage productions go on sale typically one month prior to
opening night. All ticketing is through TicketWeb and the Sarratt Box Office. Tickets are not available at the door, however you can purchase tickets online prior to curtain.
