Yana Vierboom

Research Assistant Professor

Yana Vierboom is a sociologist and demographer who studies trends in health and mortality. Her research examines why some groups live longer and healthier lives than others. Before her role as a Research Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University, she served as researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Germany and Princeton University.
