After a postdoc period, he accepted an assistant professor position at the University of Arizona in the clinical program, becoming the clinical director.<\/p>\n<p>Zach has emerged as a major figure in the use of artificial intelligence\/machine learning to generate precision treatment rules that identify the optimal treatment for a given patient.
