“As a member of the Bodily Self in the Virtual World Immersion group, I was given opportunities to conduct and showcase my research to the public. These were\"\" incredible experiences and laid the groundwork for my interest in pursuing research on bodily self-disturbances and the relationships between body, mind, and self in schizophrenia. Under the guidance and support of Dr. Sohee Park, I took the lead on a research project examining how well people with schizophrenia estimate their bodily boundaries and comparing them with their bodily boundaries as measured in virtual reality. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to share my research at two international conferences: the Society for Research in Psychopathology (SRP) in 2024 and the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS) in 2025.”<\/p>\n
