My main research interests lie within the general area of political philosophy. I aim to investigate how individual citizens can overcome domination and have the freedom of political life in deliberative democracy where their knowledge is mediated by those with various forms of power. To this end, I have been focused on the nature of political judgment, trying to construct an answer from John Rawls, Max Weber, and pragmatists such as William James and John Dewey.
