Jennifer Lowell

Graduate Student

Jennifer Lowell is a first-year graduate student in the Philosophy PhD program. She is examining the intersections between aesthetics, social philosophy, and medical ethics to assess the ways in which perception and social values shape concepts of care and healthcare practices. She is especially interested in how aesthetic principles and understandings of the self and other inform perceptions of whom and what should be cared for, and how.
