David Thorstad

Assistant Professor of Philosophy

I completed my Ph.D. in philosophy at Harvard University in May 2020. Since then, I have been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Global Priorities Institute, Oxford, and a Junior Research fellow at Kellogg College. My research focuses on epistemology and value theory, connecting questions about bounded rationality with questions about altruistic decision making and the ethics of emerging technologies.
