Alyssa Lowery

I received my BA in Religious Studies from Young Harris College in 2014, and my Ph.D. in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University in 2020. My research focuses on the relationship between social-political philosophy and the critical religion tradition, specifically as it pertains to the idea of public reason. I also have research interests in Stoicism, LGBT philosophy, and applied epistemology.
