Normally accompanied by 1502L. Calculus-based introduction to physics taught within the context of life science applications. Electricity and magnetism; geometric and physical optics; atomic, nuclear, and quantum physics. Prospective majors are strongly advised to take Math 1301 or a higher level calculus course. Prior study of calculus or concurrent enrollment in Math 1100, 1201, or 1301 is expected. No credit for students who have earned credit for 1602 or 1902. [3] (MNS)
