Pamela Osborn Popp, Ph.D.

Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience

Pamela Osborn Popp earned her Ph.D. in neuroscience at New York University where she investigated the computational underpinnings of learning, teaching, and social decision-making. She is interested in human learning not just as a computational cognitive scientist but also as an educator. In her postdoctoral work at Vanderbilt University, Popp expanded her research into interdisciplinary STEM education through teaching and leading research projects at the School for Science and Math at Vanderbilt. As a Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience, she draws on her computational expertise to develop undergraduate courses exploring how neuroscience connects to AI, technology, and data science.
