MHS major Ingrid Sorin ’26 showcased the results of an internship training and study that she undertook with Dr. Fatima Kola in Fall 2025 at an Immersion Vanderbilt event in March. Ingrid interned at biotech company Biohaven, researching Graves’ Disease and Spinocerebellar Ataxia, two chronic conditions with limited safe treatments and support within the rare disease space. Simultaneously, she produced a paper analyzing patient narratives to identify key concerns, fears, and priorities for future care of these conditions.
Congratulations Ingrid!
