Thought Papers must be submitted 48 hours before the actual session per email to Lutz Koepnick. They will be posted on the course web page at least 24 hours before individual sessions. Your task is to summarize briefly two recent essays of your own choice addressing our text in question. Both essays should represent significantly different methodologies and theoretical approaches. At the end of your presentation you should provide us with a number of questions or theses in order to probe the arguments of your two essays. These questions will serve us as a platform in class to discuss the text in question. Every student will be expected to read your paper carefully before class. Your paper should be no longer than 750 words.
