2/10 Lecture from Fulbright fellow Allyson Gonzalez: “Performing the Sephardic in Modern Spain, 1914-1968”
The Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the Max Kade Center for European and German Studies, and the Program in Jewish Studies welcome Allyson Gonzalez, a Brandeis University graduate and current Fulbright Fellow to Israel. She is one of two recipients of the New Voices in Jewish Studies from Columbia University and Fordham University (2018-2019), and is in the final stages of completing a book-length project that examines performances of public Jewishness in modern Spain.
Her lecture will be on February 10, in Buttrick 123 at 12pm. Lunch will be served.
