Faculty Awarded Prizes for their Work

Rebecca Epstein-Levi received the 2025 Jordan Schnitzer Book Award for the best book in Philosophy & Jewish Thought published over the last two years, awarded by the Jewish Studies Association for  When We Collide: Sex, Social Risk, and Jewish Ethics (Indiana University Press, 2023).

Ari Joskowicz received the 2025 Sybil Halpern Milton Memorial Book Prize from the German Studies Association for his book Rain of Ash: Roma, Jews, and the Holocaust
