Senior Lecturer Susan Dine Presents Art History Course at the Frist Art Museum
On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Senior Lecturer Susan Dine presented an art history course at the Frist Art Museum: Human Experience and Japanese Art. This talk was held from 6:00pm-7:00pm in the Museum’s Auditorium.
In this course, Dine explored visual expressions from the period following World War II through the present day, with a focus on “cute” (kawaii) culture and apocalyptic imaginations in art and popular culture.
