Chiedozie Michael Uhuegbu
Chiedozie Michael Uhuegbu taught German language for over 6 years at the University of Benin, Nigeria before joining the German program at Vanderbilt University for his Ph.D. in the fall of 2016. He earned his B.A. in French and German (2010) followed by a M.A in German literature from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2015). Michael’s research interests include the depiction of culture, identity, and hybridity in German migration literature. He is also interested in collective and embodied memory in German war literature. He recently earned a Certificate in College Teaching from the Center for Teaching at Vanderbilt University.
