Nathan Dize published a new interview on H-Net Haiti with the translators of Stella: A Novel of the Haitian Revolution

Posted by on Monday, October 17, 2016 in Uncategorized.

The series, entitled Haiti in Translation, features interviews with scholars and translators of fiction and non-fiction relating to Haiti in Haitian Creole, English and French.

The goal of the series is to highlight the work of translators working on projects relating to Haiti, to draw attention to new additions to the field of French and Francophone studies broadly defined, and to provide instructors with information about newly available texts.

Please see Nathan’s first interview with Lesley S. Curtis and Christen Mucher as they discuss the translation and critical edition of Émeric Bergeaud’s Stella (NYU Press 2015).
