Congratulations Louis Betty!

Professor Louis Betty, who lectured in the French Department at University of San Francisco for the past two years, has just accepted a tenure track position at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. Louis Betty received his PhD in French Literature from Vanderbilt University in 2011. His research interests include religion and philosophy in literature, French intellectual history and utopian thought, and religious issues concerning contemporary France. He enjoys both scholarly and creative writing and wrote his dissertation on French novelist Michel Houellebecq.
