Her essay collection <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.graywolfpress.org\/books\/close-calls-nonsense\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Close Calls with Nonsense<\/a><\/em> was a<a href=\"https:\/\/news.harvard.edu\/gazette\/story\/2010\/02\/stephen-burt-named-national-book-critics-circle-award-finalist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award<\/a>. Some of her other works include<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.graywolfpress.org\/books\/we-are-mermaids\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> We Are Mermaids<\/a><\/em>,<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.graywolfpress.org\/books\/advice-lights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Advice from the Lights<\/a><\/em>, <em>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hup.harvard.edu\/books\/9780674737877\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Poem is You: 60 Contemporary American Poems and How to Read Them<\/a><\/em>. Her writing has appeared in the <em>New York Times Book Review<\/em>, <em>London Review of Books<\/em>, and <em>Boston Review<\/em>.
