Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in\u00a0<em>Shenandoah<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Southwest Review, Juked, Pleiades<\/em>, and elsewhere. She holds a PhD in Fiction from the University of North Texas and an MFA from Vanderbilt University.\u00a0Her work received notable mention in the\u00a0<em>Best American Short Stories<\/em>\u00a0of 2018. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Cincinnati, where she is also pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Women\u2019s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She holds an M.F.A. from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in English with Comprehensive Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.<\/p>\n<p>Her work appears in journals such as <em>The Atlantic<\/em>,<em> Best New Poets 2016 <\/em>and <em>2019,<\/em> <em>Crazyhorse<\/em>, <em>Gulf Coast<\/em>, <em>Harvard Review<\/em>, <em>Ploughshares,<\/em> and <em>Poetry Daily. Exorcism Lessons in the Heartland<\/em> was also named a finalist or semifinalist for the Brittingham &amp; Felix Pollak Prizes in Poetry, the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize, <em>The Journal<\/em>\/Charles B.
