This immersion would require two courses and a final project. The literature courses from which one could choose are as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Science Fiction (ENGL 3728 or 3728W)&mdash;Recent offering was &ldquo;The Afro-Futurism of Octavia Butler&rdquo;<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Literature, Science, and Technology (ENGL 3720W)&mdash;Recent offering was &ldquo;Robots and Clones in Literature and film&rdquo;<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The Nineteenth Century English Novel (ENGL 3618)&mdash;Recent offering was &ldquo;Nineteenth Century Science Fiction&rdquo;<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Imagining the Aliens: Jewish Science Fiction (JS 2290W)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>The final written project<\/strong> could be an academic essay with an oral defense or a Science Fiction story alongside a final paper<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<!-- END PANEL * ID 5687 -->\n\n\n<\/div><!-- END ACCORDION * AID 5687 -->\n\n\r\n<p><strong>We are currently working on other suggested pathways, including \u201cGame Studies.\u201d <\/strong><strong>Questions about Immersion in Literary Studies?
