Major Jackson Named New Host of Daily Poetry Podcast “The Slowdown”
Starting January 24, Major Jackson, Vanderbilt Professor of English and the Director of the Creative Writing Program, will take over the hosting duties of the daily poetry podcast, “The Slowdown.” He will replace Ada Limón, who is leaving to become the next U.S. poet laureate.
