Second Annual Vanderbilt BP Debate Tournament

This past weekend, Vanderbilt’s Debate Team hosted its 2nd annual Vanderbilt BP tournament. 64 teams competed in this tournament with debaters coming from 31 universities, 17 states and Washington D.C, 6 countries, and 3 continents!

The tournament winners in the open division came from the United States International University, located in Nairobi, Kenya. The novice champion were also from Kenya from Strathmore University.

The next novice debate tournament will be at the end of February and will be hosted by Cornell, and there will also be a tournament hosted by Loyola University in Chicago.
